pray-letters

Once a month our mid-week Intercessory prayer meeting hosts a Drop-In Outreach for our community.  Prayer intercessors and others are ready to counsel and pray for any who have a need!

“Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves… you are that one’s slaves…whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”  Romans 6:16

The Bible indicates that we will either serve God or sin.  Sin is insidious, and begins with an enticement to choose pleasure.

However, in time its hold on us diminishes our self-control and our will to be free from its captivity.  Serving God is freely chosen, but serving sin is indeed like slavery.

As we have seen in the book of Mark, though our wills may be enslaved to sin, no amount of addiction from sin or the enemy can keep us from calling out to the Lord for help!

We need to be praying that God would bring us into a place where we might help those who are struggling right now with an epidemic of increasing proportions right in our own back yard!  May God deliver us all!
